The Corona Covid19 Virus appears to have brought the entire world to its knees. Leaving the “pandemic” of fear to one side, we can see that international travel has ground to a halt, the Stock Market has crashed whilst the Saudi-Russian Oil War now sees Oil at a rock bottom price which is likely to see the death of the Petrodollar!
OK, let’s shift our gaze a search for the positive amongst this plethora of debris. Let’s see this situation as a world-wide and much-delayed wake-up call. Firstly, not everybody who contracts this virus will die. Most will survive. Most people have had a cold at some time in their lives, to put everything in perspective a common cold is a variant of the Corona Virus. Those at risk are the old and the immune suppressed. One person aged 103 in China has had the disease and survived. All is not lost. However, those in this category need to take extra precautions. The message appears clear…” If you have a good immune system then this and most other illnesses fade into insignificance!” said esteemed Irish researcher Dr. Dolores Cahill PhD.
Let’s stop fixating on a vaccine that may or may not be effective. Listen carefully, you are 100% responsible for your own health. Do not expect Governments, the Medical Profession or the Pharmaceutical industry to be your saviour. You are responsible to educate yourself and step-up to the line to take the necessary measures to safeguard yourself. How do you do this? Because here is the opportunity. The two biggest advertisers in the media are the trillion-dollar pharmaceutical industry followed by the food industry. They are uninterested in you but only in their own shareholders and profits. To make profits they have to sell their products and you as the consumer are expected to buy them. The media in the form of newspapers and television take their lucrative advertising and certainly do not want to antagonise their best customers because the lost revenue would probably lead to their own demise.
Hippocrates of Kos born around 460BC is regarded as the father of Western Medicine. He is famously quoted as saying “let food be thy medicine”. Indeed, that’s our starting place. Start eating natural foods. Much of our food has been altered for commercial purposes. Modern intensive farming methods allow no time for fields to lie fallow so they can naturally replenish themselves with the necessary minerals. Crops are soused in glyphosate and pesticides. The earth itself is fertilised with synthetic agents like NPK. The result is crops that acquire vital nutrients via photosynthesis are deficient and we as a species begin to suffer as a result. That means If you can get organic so much the better. It also means we need to thoroughly wash all produce before we eat it. Soak fruit and vegetables in vinegar or a hydrogen peroxide solution for at least half an hour. It also means we need to supplement to make up for the deficiencies.
Here then is my list of recommended supplements which will boost your immune system to keep you free of just about everything including Corona Virus. These come from Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt MD, PhD; the founder of the prestigious Sophia Institute. He received “Physician of the Year Award” from the Global Foundation of Integrative Medicine in May b2007 and again in 2011 from “The International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine”.
Take 2 gms of Vitamin C daily in two divided doses. Vitamin C tablets are hard to digest and we do not absorb the full two grams. Crystalline C is more absorbable but it does not taste very nice although it can be easily added to juices and smoothies. Liposomal Vitamin C is an excellent answer. Liposomes use a phospholipid bilayer formed around the vitamin. This outer casing protects the nutrient from damage that would normally occur during the digestion process. The product can be expensive and difficult to obtain. The very best transportation medium is directly into the bloodstream via an intravenous drip. Many experiments over the years show this to be a powerful treatment method. The Chinese are presently researching this treatment as an answer to Covid19. Vitamin C is a water-soluble nutrient. It is an antioxidant that protects cells from free radical damage. It also makes collagen which boosts immune function and helps wounds heal.
Take 2000 IU of Vitamin D 3 daily. If you fall ill increase the dose to 5000 IU. In the past, it was thought that Vitamin D was mainly responsible for calcium metabolism and the building of strong bones. Now, we know it has many other functions. These include immune support and increased lung function. It is absorbed by the skin from sunlight but many people living in northern climes are deficient and so are the majority who live in sunny places because they do not spend enough time in the sun as work and other activities preclude this.
Take at least 800 mg of Magnesium in two daily doses. One in the morning and the other just before bed. The preferred forms are malate, citrate, chelate, chloride or glycinate. Avoid oxide, hydroxide or sulphate as they are laxatives. Magnesium regulates over 300 bodily functions. It helps relax the muscles and the nervous system. It promotes sleep and bathroom visits and balances blood sugar levels as well as equalising protein and the production of energy. It is a powerful stress buster, too.
Take 20 mg of Zinc daily. Zinc is needed for the proper growth of the human body. It is necessary for immune function and there is some evidence that it is effective in combatting viruses. It is an essential nutrient. This means the body can neither produce or store it so it is only available through supplementation. Pubmed tells us Zinc supplements significantly reduce the risk of infections and promotes the immune response, especially in older adults. Studies have shown Zinc tablets reduce the duration of the common cold. Remember, the cold is a virus. Look to buying Zinc acetate, Zinc sulphate and Zinc picolinate. The latter is absorbed best by the body. If you should fall ill, increase the dosage to 80 to 100 mg daily but cut back when the symptoms subside. Be sure to take the supplement with food.
Wash your hands frequently. Antibacterial hand sanitisers are useless against viruses. Use ordinary soap. The virus has a lipid protective coating. Soaps are laden with lipids that dissolve this coating on the virus. Without the protective layer, they die!
Researchers at the Massachusetts General Hospital have found that viruses are pH-sensitive. Coronavirus infectivity is very sensitive to pH. It’s quite stable at a pH of 6(acidic) but becomes inactivated when exposed to a pH of 8 (alkaline). Raising pH to an alkaline state increases the immune system’s ability to kill bacteria the Royal Free Hospital in London tells us. It seems that the viruses and bacteria that cause bronchitis and cold thrive in an acidic environment. Keeping the body’s pH in the slightly alkaline range of 6.8 – 7.2 can reduce the risk and reduce the severity of colds, sore throats and flu. Viruses infect host cells by fusion with cellular membranes in low pH. They are thus classified as” pH-dependent viruses.” Pharmaceutical Companies are working on producing an alkalising drug, but one exists already. Sodium Bicarbonate is cheap and easily available. Dr. Mercola recommends taking a half teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate along with a slice of lemon in a glass of warm water both night and morning to increase pH levels as a protection against viruses and bacteria. This alkalises the system increases the voltage and with it the O levels. If you should fall ill the dose needs to be increased while symptoms last. For those under 60 years old take 6 doses on the first day and decrease daily until you reach the holding dose of 2, Remain there until the symptoms disappear. For those over 60 take three doses daily until you become symptom-free. 
Your thymus located behind your breastbone plays a vital role in both the immune and lymphatic system. Gently tapping it about eight times three times a day seems to energise it. This boosts immune function and helps alleviate stress.
Read labels and stop buying packets. Eat the minimum of five servings of fresh fruit and vegetables daily, says anti-ageing expert Dr. Norm Shealy. The fruit is a good cleanser but a poor desert. It’s best eaten before noon whilst the body is in a catabolic mode. Sugar depresses the immune system. Pure sugar is a mix of glucose and fructose. However, in the 1980s the focus shifted to High Fructose Corn Syrup. Not only is corn very often genetically modified but the body has problems assimilating it. If will take in too much and stores the excess as fat. The advent of HFCS gave rise to the current obesity epidemic. Start to cook for yourself and begin to prepare meals from scratch. Choose alkaline-rich ingredients like fresh vegetables, include juices and preferably smoothies because they are high in fibre and steer away from acidic items like red meat, sugar, black tea coffee, alcohol, wheat and sodas. Drink plenty of freshwater. You can add a slice of lemon for flavour. It also alkalises the water. There is a formula which states you drink 35 ml of water per kilo of body weight. Drinking water washes viruses from the mouth and when they arrive in the stomach they are destroyed by the acid. Treat water like medicine and drink a glass every hour. You can get an app on your phone as a reminder.
Start exercising, don’t be a couch potato. Exercising prompts deep breathing that floods the system with life-giving Oxygen. Energy levels are increased and this too stimulates the immune system. It’s recommended that everybody takes a minimum of 35 minutes daily to move and stimulate blood flow. It doesn’t matter what you do but it needs to be something that you like and gets you out of breath. Brisk walking is fine and walking up a steep hill even better. Deep breathing exercises are invaluable. I urge you to check out “the ice-man” Wim Hof who claims and has proved that you can control apoptosis through his deep-breathing exercises. In on demonstration, he was injected with e-coli and through his deep breathing was able to overcome the effects and remain symptom-free. Just to show he was not some sort of superhuman freak he got twelve other people to join him in the experiment and they got the same result.
He talks about the adaptive immune system that is located in the bone marrow. He says we can release the T and B cells through our own thinking. This takes care of the inflammation. This means you can overcome your own symptoms. Inflammation is the root cause of all disease. As we bring oxygen into the belly, the lungs and the head we start to alkalise the entire system. Bacteria and viruses do not like an alkaline environment and so they go. How do you do this? The answer…his breathing exercises. There are several videos on YouTube or on his website showing you how to do this. Go and take a look. Maybe you don’t want to submerge yourself in ice for a protracted period of time, but have you tried a cold shower immediately after getting out of bed in the morning?
Good quality sleep is imperative. We all need approximately eight hours nightly. The British Prime-Minister proclaimed she could subsist on only four but was she human? The rest of us need more. Make sure you are getting it.
Stress is responsible for 90% of all illness according to Dr. Bruce Lipton the author of “The Biology of Belief”. Stress or sympathetic dominance of the Autonomic Nervous System is controlled by 3 hormones. These are epinephrine or adrenaline, norepinephrine and cortisol. These trigger the flight or fight response. This is a leftover from the days we were likely to meet a sabre-tooth tiger when we were out in the jungle collecting berries. The tiger posed a life or death threat and the hormones elevated blood pressure, blood sugar levels and sent blood into the deep muscle so we could run faster or fight harder. This required a spurt of increased energy. To get the energy many body functions shut down. These include digestion, the sexual function and most importantly the immune system. Once the danger was passed, they would start up again.
Happily, today we meet few sabre tooth tigers but we respond inappropriately to non-life threatening threats. Instead of meeting a sabre tooth tiger every month or so we now respond several times per day. This taxes the adrenal glands. The result is a general weakening of all systems as well as a build-up of toxic hormones that have to be cleared by the liver. The fear created by the Corvid19 virus is more deadly than the virus itself. This has been stated by many experts at this time including Dr. Judy Mikovits. It is important we work to shut down the fear response. The media stokes fear which depletes the immune system. It is vital we cease buying into the fear and start reactivating the immune system. Deep breathing switches off the sympathetic side of the ANS and switches on the healing and restful parasympathetic.
This is possibly why Wim Hof has had so much success in healing illness with his deep breathing techniques. If you have not done so already start investigating his methods. Other approaches include meditation and Meridian Energy Therapies such as Emotional Freedom Techniques “or EFT. EFT owes its origins to Chinese Medicine that has been around for a very long time. The originators found that by tapping specific acupuncture Meridian points that negative emotions and limiting beliefs could be diffused. EFT is immensely effective, easy to use and easy to learn. Thus, it is an ideal tool for addressing our response to the fear and uncertainty that has been created by the so-called Covid19 pandemic.
A headline in Britain’s Daily Mail said this:
“Alternative ‘tapping’ therapy could be used by the NHS to treat anxiety and depression.”
Research indicates that EFT is effective for controlling anxiety and PTSD. A 2016 review of 14 studies reported that people who used EFT experiences a significant reduction in anxiety. Another study in the same year indicated it was helpful in treating depression. The researchers also found it decreased pain levels and food cravings disappeared. Other positive factors included a slowing of heart rate, a reduction in blood pressure and a lowering of cortisol levels.
Lay all the negative thinking to rest. We are in a time of deep change and let’s use this to improve life on this amazing planet by creating a positive response.
